  3. I'd like to know what you do with this list. As in, how do you work with it on a weekely basis. Right now I prepare a cooked breakfast on Tues, Thurs and Sat. Homemade granola, oatmeal, waffles are available for people to prepare their own breakfasts on Mon, Wed and Fri. On Sunday, I serve toaster waffles and bacon (which my dh cooks the night before).

I'm always interested in seeing what others do. It has helped me to fine tune.

  4. Oh, and I'd add baked oatmeal to the list. We also like oven pancakes and toad in the hole. These are options on my cooking days.

  5. I almost forgot: Egg MaxMuffins--the Maxwell family homecooked version of Egg McMuffins. Yum!

  6. In the hot cereal category, there's
Wheat Berries (cooked overnight in the crockpot)
Corn grits (leftovers can be popped into a loaf pan, chilled, sliced, and fried. Grilled, too, probably)
    Muesli
    Leftover apple pie/crisp/etc
    Tea and a snickers bar
    cold pizza

  7. I don't know if you would enjoy them, but enchiladas make a great breakfast too (especially on colder days), and Drew's way of making them is pretty easy (and not too spicy either).

Other than that, I'm still quite the newbie here!! ::listens to everyone else::
